Adan Provencio
 Adan Provencio is an active freelance soloist, performer and teacher in Southern California.  He has performed with the San Diego Opera, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, La Jolla Symphony and San Diego Wind Ensemble. He was formerly principal flute with Lyric Opera San Diego, and is a member of Windessence. He won 1st prize in the 1996 San Diego Flute Guild Young Artist Gold competition.  As soloist, he has presented recitals throughout Southern California and Paris, France and performed concertos with the Pacific Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, San Diego Wind Ensemble, Cabrillo Chamber Orchestra and others. He commissioned composer Igor Korneitchouk to develop new music for flute  which resulted in Versus Antiqui,  Suite for flute and piccolo.  He premiered this work (with Piccoloist Elizabeth Ashmead) at the 2005 National Flute Association Convention.   He has also collaborated with members of Issacs, McCaleb and Dancers in cross disciplinary projects. His teachers include Christelle Burgess, Mary Ellen Trefry, Dr. Teresa Beaman, Damian Bursill-Hall and Claude Monteux.
